Barbara passed away Christmas Eve (12/24/2008) in an Arcata, Ca. campground, while visiting her daughter and family, of an apparent heart attack. She is survived by daughter, Rommie (her family) and son, Coby Helton.
My memories of Barbara are that of a friend who was always up for fun and adventure. Our common bond of the love for the outdoors led us to many escapades of fun and laughter. Her love of sports and her ability to try her hand at most things, led us to a wonderful friendship. She could laugh at herself and shared all that she had. I will remember her always. I hope that heaven has horses and motorcycles so she can play a lot.
